|#211||Clyde Barker Reviews "Star Wars: The Force Awakens"||In line with yesterday's guest strip that strongly discouraged spoilers, we've got a spoiler-free review of the latest installment in the Star Wars movie franchise.
My own thoughts about Episode VII are similar to Clyde's.
See you tomorrow!

|#209||Games Without Frontiers||This kind of wraps up the Virtual Gaming experience for Jerry and Spacebot -- these guys and girls are absolutely crazy, or are they? And is that Brain Slug that tries to eat Jerry's head really dangerous, or just a hologram? Guess we'll never find out. Looks like they lost their AGP before they won any.
Next week, we'll see more places of future Metrotopia. Next up is a guest strip, though.
Tonight, we listened to the album "Day & Age" by The Killers. They combine several influences, e.g. Coldplay, U2, the Red Hot Chili Peppers(!), and Radiohead. Interesting record.

|#208||The Games We Didn't Play||So they're considering Metroid, a game that has been around for 81 years in the year 2067. And Jerry is absolutely excited and relieved about it.
While drawing this one, we listened to Rush's fantastic record "Moving Pictures." It contains classics like "Tom Sawyer," "YYZ," and "Red Barchetta."

|#203||Public Discussion Topics Right Now||Have you noticed how EVERYONE has been talking about Star Wars for the last few weeks? Well, now that we've finally seen the new movie, The Force Awakens, we can safely tell you that it's absolutely worth it. No spoilers here though; we'll present you Clyde Barker's spoiler-free review soon.
The 90% of Star Wars conversations are made up of the following percentages:
- 40% spoilers
- 30% angrily telling those who have seen it not to spoil it for you
- 20% how everyone hopes it will be good (and how the prequels sucked -- personally, I don't think so, and I even like Jar Jar Binks!)
- 10% Who the heck are all these new characters?
|#201||The Cast Awakens||The Force is strong in them!
In anticipation of the brand new Star Wars movie, "The Force Awakens," we present a few regular EBC cast members as Jedi Knights and Spacebot as a rogue fighter with a blaster (think Han Solo made of steel).
Sorry that this strip is a few days late; we were quite busy. We will upload four more comics until Sunday though. Christmas and New Year week may contain a few specials.
|Dr. Mysterious; Fallout, Jerry; Pimple Faced Teen; Spacebot 4000|
|#200||Happy Anniversary With 199 Comics!||Here it is! One of the largest EBC strips to date. Photoshop automation and some Python scripting helped making the giant wall of comics (EBC #1 through #199), while our heroes were added by traditional digital drawing.
Please be patient, it may take a while to load.
200 strips are done, so let's raise our glasses for the next 200.
See you tomorrow!
|Fallout, Jerry; Spacebot 4000|
|#170||Thanks For The First Year!||Okay, this one wraps it up for 2011. Thanks for your attention. Hope you had as much fun reading these comics as I had making them.
Top priorities for 2012:
3. Further improve the artwork (practicing definitely helps)
2. Tell even more exciting stories (just look at the teaser images and questions...)
1. Keep the schedule!
|Fallout, Jerry; Fat Zap; Hyperman; Pimple Faced Teen; Spacebot 4000|
|#130||The Traffic Circle||Another star, another ... but wait, there is a mysterious circle and a sign.
Nobody knows, what that is about. Expect Raybe the Robot.
A guest strip by my colleague Martin Kelm
