#190: A Time For Velociraptors

A guest strip by my son Leon (thanks again!) It's two days late because it took him a while to finish it, but I think it was absolutely worth the wait. Tomorrow we'll resume with the regular EBC where Dr. Mysterious and his assistant are still in the year 2067.
Here's what Leon himself has to say about his comic:
"It's been a long time since I last had the pleasure of creating a guest strip. And I have to admit that I'm very excited. "Jurassic World" was one of my favorite movies this year, and I think that it received too much undeserved criticism.
In this comic we find Owen Grady showing off his raptors to a largely unimpressed audience, consisting of Claire and her nephews.
Owen's reaction to their behavior is not particularly pleasant, to say the least.
See you tomorrow!"

Owen Grady [off-screen]: This is Blue, a bloodthirsty velociraptor, running...
Owen [off-screen]: Hunting her helpless prey. She can outrun most other land animals...
Owen [off-screen]: Including, of course, humans!
Owen: And she's a pretty proud animal. In fact, the rest of the pack...
Gray Mitchell: Wow.
Owen [off-screen]: Delta, Echo and Charlie, aren't any better. But they all learned to respect me because I respect them.
Claire Dearing: Yeah. I have to admit that they are pretty cool animals. If you ignore the fact that the only thing keeping them from killing us is this dance.
Owen: Uhm... why exactly do you work here again? And why are you still wearing these... SHOES?
Claire: Do you always have to mention my shoes? Besides, I work in an office with clients, not in the jungle. And I have lots of responsibilities.
Owen: Well, now you are in the jungle somehow, eh? Also, I don't know if you can relate to it, but I think it's pretty exciting out here. What do you think?
Claire: Surveys show that the velociraptors are people's second favorite breed of dinosaur in our park. Right after the Indominus Rex, of course.
Zach Mitchell: Guys, I'd better give my girlfriend a call. Guess she might be a bit worried.
Gray: The skull of a triceratops is a third the length of its whole body.
Owen [annoyed]: Come on, guys!

Using these channels, you can also communicate with us, ask questions, or even try and make suggestions. We won't promise to listen to the latter, but are always glad to hear your opinions about our work. Even the critical ones, as long as they're more constructive and more eloquently worded than "you suck."
We deliberately left out Instagram since they're too hipster to allow access from a computer and require a mobile device. We create and publish this comic using a MacBook Pro, and I'm not too fond of switching devices just for one social network (I know there are unofficial workarounds, but never mind these).
