|#202||Merry Without Spacebot And Jerry||Merry Christmas from EBC Headquarters! This is the first of four comics which will be uploaded TONIGHT. Stay tuned.
Note: Jerry and Spacebot will eventually return BEFORE Christmas 2011, but due to the delicate nature of time travel, the state you see pictured here is the one while they're still away (there are always multiple timelines at once when people travel through time -- one of the reasons why you should stay away from it, even if it were possible).
|Pimple Faced Teen|
|#200||Happy Anniversary With 199 Comics!||Here it is! One of the largest EBC strips to date. Photoshop automation and some Python scripting helped making the giant wall of comics (EBC #1 through #199), while our heroes were added by traditional digital drawing.
Please be patient, it may take a while to load.
200 strips are done, so let's raise our glasses for the next 200.
See you tomorrow!
|Fallout, Jerry; Spacebot 4000|
|#170||Thanks For The First Year!||Okay, this one wraps it up for 2011. Thanks for your attention. Hope you had as much fun reading these comics as I had making them.
Top priorities for 2012:
3. Further improve the artwork (practicing definitely helps)
2. Tell even more exciting stories (just look at the teaser images and questions...)
1. Keep the schedule!
|Fallout, Jerry; Fat Zap; Hyperman; Pimple Faced Teen; Spacebot 4000|
|#164||Back To The Roots (X-Mas)||Jerry and Spacebot are singing, like way back in their first appearance in EBC #6. Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays to all of our readers.
I know, I know, I promised new comics ages ago. But the last two weeks were just downright crazy, with working hours until 10 or 11 pm (we had to finish a project). Sorry for that. Tomorrow, we'll have the What If (promised long ago), and on Monday, we'll finally conclude the Ancient Rome story arc. After that, new adventures are waiting for our friends.
|Fallout, Jerry; Spacebot 4000|
|#159||Not Like Your Grandpa's Thanksgiving||Woohoo, EBC is back as my Apache book is done! Today is Thanksgiving, so here's another special out-of-continuity strip. And, by the way, happy Thanksgiving to our American readers!
Tomorrow, we'll have a guest strip, and on Monday, you'll see Jerry, 1985's Monty, and Spacebot fighting for their lives at the Colosseum.
|Fallout, Gilbert; Fallout, Jerry; Fallout, Monty; Fallout, Mrs.; Pimple Faced Teen; Spacebot 4000|
|#154||Halloween Special, Part 5/5 -- The Geometry Nerds in: Dungeon Masters||A conventional D&D game becomes real, and it turns out that watching a fight between monsters can be quite entertaining.
That's it with this year's Halloween specials. Next up is a What If, I think I'll do that one on Sunday because the current strip is already late. And then, finally, back to the Roman Empire, where the epic battle in the colosseum is about to start.
|Ball Guy; Cube Guy; Pyramid Guy|
|#153||Halloween Special, Part 4/5 -- Hyperman in: Dr. Barker & Mr. Hype||Here's part 4 of our 5-part Halloween Special, featuring Hyperman this time. Well, not exactly Hyperman, because Clyde never becomes Hyperman in this reality, but merely some kind of Hyper-Hulk.
Mrs. Barker, Clyde's mother, actually was a physician before she retired a few years ago. Maybe we'll meet her in a comic some day.
|Barker, Clyde; Pimple Faced Teen|
|#152||Halloween Special, Part 3/5||This is part 3 of our five-part Halloween special, featuring the Weather Guys and the reason for the untimely winter onset on the US East Coast.||Cloud #1; Cloud #2; Cloud #3; Snobble; Sun|
|#151||Halloween Special, Part 2/5 -- P.F.T. in: Some Like It Deep-Fried||Part 2 of our five-part Halloween special. Featuring Pimple Faced Teen and a parody of Edgar Allan Poe's classic horror poem "The Raven."||Fallout, Jerry; Pimple Faced Teen; Spacebot 4000|
|#150||Halloween Special, Part 1/5||This is part 1 of a five-part Halloween special, published during the week. Then on Saturday, I'll do the What If #155 to be back on schedule.||Fallout, Jerry; Fat Zap; Spacebot 4000|
|#149||One Man's Fun Is Another Pumpkin's Hell||Okay, despite the announcement in today's news post, I felt like the new Halloween Theme should be followed by a comic. The current continuity of our story arc requires me to draw the Colosseum, though, which is pretty time-consuming, and I don't have that much time for now. So enjoy this little out-of-continuity thing.
BTW: I wonder whether "one man's fun is another's hell" is a real proverb or classic quote or whether Metallica invented it for their 1991 song "My Friend Of Misery."
